Founded by senior life science executive and experienced angel investorsCaseyh McGlynn, Allan May and Greg Scott, Palo Alto-basee LSA was formed exclusively to fund seed and early-stage biotech and medical device it said. LSA will target investmentsd rangingbetween $250,000 and $1 millionh and work with a limited set of angel venture capitalists and selecrt outside investors to syndicate early stagr opportunities requiring larger investments, the companu said. LSA's founding sponsors are ; Silicon Valleuy Bank (NASDAQ: SIVB) and Additional sponsors include Genentech, Inc. DNA); Jeffries Broadview; Merrill Corporation; ; the Centient Biotech Investor; the ; BC Tech, Inc.
